Alina Kugush was born, lives, and works in St. Petersburg. She studied graphics at the I. E. Repin Academy of Fine Arts, working under Leonid Tskhe. She is a graduate of the PRO ARTE Foundation's School for Young Artists. She is a participant in the Sever 7 group's School of Active Drawing and Performative Posing. She is a visiting professor and curator of the "Fundamentals of Contemporary Painting" course at the Moscow School of Contemporary Art. The artist's projects have been shown in the open collection of the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, the Tretyakov Gallery branch in Samara, and in galleries and spaces in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Tula, and abroad.
The Nizhny Novgorod Region Art Residency Program is being implemented with the support of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Government and the ANO Center 800.
