Gallery 9B invites contemporary artists to take part in the art residence program. The term is up to 1 month. Accommodation in the historical center of Nizhny Novgorod in a cozy two-storey space with all the amenities accompanying the resident by a gallery employee, research organization, media coverage and public program at the request of the resident. As a result of the residence, the artist can present an exhibition, performance, zine, article, street painting, etc. The resident is also not limited in the topic - it can be both the study of local phenomena and the continuation of a personal project.

The residence of Gallery 9B has existed since 2019. Among its participants are Dmitry Aske, Alisa Joffe, Sveta Shuvaeva, Darya Gitmanovich, Andrey Berger, Ulyana Podkorytova, Stasya Grishina, Larkandre, Rodion Kitaev, Lyudmila Baronina, Igor Ponosov, Irina Petrakova, Ivan Gorshkov.
