Evsti Bomse
Evsti Bomse was born in 1996. One of the founders of the Bomse crew the most important street art team in Nizhny Novgorod. Has been doing graffiti since 2008. Nowdays he works as an independent studio artist. Lives and works in Nizhny Novgorod.

Evsti Bomse pays a lot of attention to technique and details. His main source of inspiration is modern problems of society, street environment, mythical images, traveling, and video games. The plots are related to current events and global changes in the world and society. His works are distinguished by irony and subtle criticism.

On the one hand the artist's setting and style are formed by street art, cinema, video games and animation. Hence the American suburban houses, teenagers from the 90s, characters that seem to have come from billboards or old films. However some plots, techniques, compositions, timeless heroes and especially the author’s instructive intonation contextually connect the artist with the art of the Northern Renaissance.

The author appears as the voice of justice, denouncing not only ancient vices but also modern sins of humanity. His subjects are consumerism, colonialism, social inequality, cultural appropriation. But his sinners will not be punished but will be laughed at by the crowd.
